UNHCR relies on Lattanzio KIBS, in collaboration with FIERI, to conduct the study on the socio-economic situation of Beneficiaries of International and Temporary Protection in Italy

First meetings in the Milan office

With the first two Focus Groups, the Study on Socio-Economic Situation of Beneficiaries of International and Temporary Protection in Italy for the UNHCR comes into full swing.

The objective of the research, carried out by Lattanzio KIBS, in partnership with the International and European Forum for Research on Immigration (FIERI), is to assess the levels of poverty and vulnerability of Beneficiaries of International and Temporary Protection (BITPs) living in Italy, identifying obstacles, barriers and difficulties they encounter during the integration process.

10 Focus Groups among Italian capitals

The meetings in Milan (addressed to people from West Africa and West Asia) were followed by 8 other focus groups in Turin, Bologna and Rome involving BITPs from Asia, Africa and Central America.

Planned activities include a discussion and interactive debate to deepen the understanding of socio-economic integration processes and adaptation strategies implemented by BITPs.
