Supporting the Italian G7 Presidency

The Group of Seven (G7) is an informal forum bringing together Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, united by common values and principles, plays an irreplaceable role in the defence of freedom and democracy and in the management of global challenges. The European Union also participates in the Group, represented at the summit by the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission. On 1 January 2024, Italy took over the presidency of the G7 for the seventh time.

Lattanzio KIBS, on behalf of the Delegation for the Italian G7 Presidency and commissioned by Consip SpA, is in charge of logistical-organizational activities and technical-level events within the G7.

Lattanzio KIBS was awarded Lot 3 of the open procedure for the design and turnkey management of events. Specifically, the intervention concerns services for the design, organisation, staging and management of G7 technical level events. The meetings are mainly intended for the preparation of the Summit and Ministerial Meetings and involve senior Italian and Foreign Ministry officials. 

Planned in-person meetings include:

• 1st Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction 
• 2nd Industry, Digital and Technology Working Group Meeting
• 2nd Digital & Tech Working Group Meeting
• G7 Finance and Central Bank Deputies Retreat
• 4th Senior Transport Official Meeting 

As part of these meetings, plus a series of VTCs (Videoconferences) focusing on equally important topics including Education, Agriculture, Health and Culture, Lattanzio KIBS assumes responsibility for the integral management of the organisational process, taking care of aspects related to reception, graphics, catering, travel and venue set-up.

The G7 brings together Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States, 7 highly industrialised countries, plus the European Union, which contribute more than 70 per cent of the world's development. They play a key role in major global issues, from international politics to the economy, as examples of global leadership, international cooperation, catalysts for change, promoters of common values, and symbols of unity.

With its intervention and thanks to the expertise acquired through the organisation of technical events for the G20, Lattanzio KIBS supports the G7 group and its irreplaceable role on the world stage in the defence of freedom, democracy and human rights.
