At Lattanzio KIBS we feel a social responsibility to work in a historical moment of intense climate change. This is what we do to make a positive contribution towards a more sustainable environment.
Transports
When it comes to business travel, we prefer the train. According to the European Environment Agency (EEA) travelling by train is the most ecological form of transport in terms of greenhouse gas emissions, rather than travelling by car or plane.
By choosing to travel via train on the Milan-Rome route, at Lattanzio KIBS we have reduced CO2 emissions per person by up to five times.
Paper
Lattanzio KIBS buys 100 per cent of its supplies from FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) companies.
Though, we pay much attention to paper consumption to reduce the negative impact of using natural resources to produce it such as water, trees and non-renewable fossil fuels, as well as releasing polluting fumes into the atmosphere. Over the years, we have seen a significant decrease in the number of reams of paper used.
Waste
In our offices, waste sorting is a good habit. A natural and spontaneous action. We properly dispose of recyclable materials thanks to collection points that are easily accessible to everyone. We also pay attention to reducing plastic consumption. We have removed plastic bottles and small bottles from desks, as well as reducing the use of glasses thanks to water bottles that Lattanzio KIBS has given to all the staff! A free water dispenser is available in every location of the company so that we can fill our own water bottle.
