Lattanzio KIBS beside UN Women in organizing 5 events for the 'Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust' initiative
The national consultations
Between April and May, 5 national consultations took place in the framework of the UN regional initiative 'Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust'.
From the big opening event in Tirana to the four meetings in Sarajevo, Belgrade, Skopje and Pristina [1], the focus was on young people. The aim is to make them more and more involved in the issues of gender equality and social cohesion.
An exchange of opinions on several topics
Lattanzio KIBS, in collaboration with BST Impact sàrl, supported the organisation of the UN Women events and facilitated interaction and discussion between more than 120 young participants on various topics, from patriarchy and gender stereotypes to divisive narratives, religion and nationalism, strongly felt at the local level.
These days figured out to be an opportunity to strengthen intercultural dialogue and promote the role of women and young girls in the creation of inclusive, peaceful and equal societies.
