Lattanzio KIBS wins 'Thematic Evaluation of UN Women's Humanitarian Action in the Arab States Region' project for women's empowerment and gender equality in the Middle East
Gender equality and women's empowerment
Lattanzio KIBS' expertise will contribute to the improvement of UN Women's approach in integrating gender equity and women's empowerment in the development and implementation of humanitarian actions legislation, policies, and procedures.
The assessment will cover the 17 countries that make up the region with a special focus on Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, and Yemen where UN Women's humanitarian work is particularly active.
The goal of the evaluation
The evaluation will maximize project results, promote women's empowerment and raise awareness of gender equality issues in the humanitarian field. UN Women's project is in line with Goal #5 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, 'Achieve Gender Equality through the Empowerment of Women and Girls'.
