Research findings on the value of the Silver Economy in Italy
Contrary to the trend of thought, it has emerged that Italian Silver people represent an important development opportunity for companies operating in Italy whose relative economy (direct, indirect and induced) would constitute about one third of Italian GDP.
In fact, the data show that the over-65s are no strangers to the innovation process: they have a good level of digitization, and 2 out of 10 are still fully included in the world of work. It is also confirmed, how in Italy the over-65s are a factor of stability for children and grandchildren, both economically and socially.
