The visit is organized by the World Bank and the Romanian government in Rome from March 5-9, 2018, for the project 'Development of the Capacity of the Central Public Administration to Carry Out Impact Studies Projects'

The purpose of the meeting and the contribution of Lattanzio KIBS

It was a busy week for the delegation, consisting of 20 representatives of the Romanian government, including the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of the Interior.

The aim of the meeting is to share good practices for ex-ante and ex-post evaluation of programmes and policies co-financed by public, national, European and international funds adopted in Italy.

Lattanzio's KIBS contribution deals in particular with experience regarding the most effective methodological approaches, the importance of stakeholder involvement at all stages of evaluation, but also as an opportunity for capacity building for the main actors in the evaluation process.

Participation at the study visit confirms the spirit of cooperation with the World Bank and the Romanian government on the issues of programme and policy evaluation, which are at the centre of the debate promoted by the Romanian institutions.
