Lattanzio KIBS alongside Apulia Region for the presentation of the new Interreg IPA CBC Programme at the Levante Fiera in Bari

The event presentation

Yesterday, at the Levante Fiera in Bari, was held the handover event of the new Interreg IPA CBC Programme to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the Southern Adriatic regions.

Lattanzio KIBS supported Apulia Region in the organisation of the event, where the results of the 2014-2020 programming were celebrated and projects with future objectives were launched. Among the institutional guests there were representatives of the three countries, the European Commission and the Managing Authority, who in dialogue fostered discussion on the strategic importance of the new Programme for cross-border areas.

Consolidating the international cooperation between Italy, Albania and Montenegro

Generally speaking, the main goal of the programme is to promote economic growth and intensify cooperation in the Lower Adriatic, by implementing joint actions between national and regional institutional and non-profit actors, and so promoting a smart, inclusive and sustainable development.

During the event, the importance of consolidating the links between the Apulia Region, stakeholders and the countries involved, but also of keeping on promoting an increasingly collaborative vision for the implementation of the Programme was emphasised.
