The first edition of the international conference dedicated to the consulting industry and the evolution of the profession organized by the professional association UBIT together with ICMCI was held in Austria on June 6, 2018
The event was attended by experts and consulting representatives from Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Ezio Lattanzio, as Chairman of the European Federation of Management Consulting Associations FEACO, spoke at the opening of the proceedings with an invitation to reflect on the challenges of digitalization.
Lattanzio argued that 'Management Consulting is a sector that is growing significantly in terms of turnover, generates highly qualified employment and is a multiplier of economic development.
In a market that is becoming increasingly competitive and selective, the opportunities related to digital transformation are considerable, to the point of pushing consulting firms to change their business model.'
