Prevention and awareness at the centre of the Information Book

Lattanzio e Associati carried out projects for the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea and funded by the National Operational Programme Security for the Development of Southern Italy 2000-2006 Measure 1.5 Human Resources for Security.

The objective of the book is to provide a concise overview of issues related to the prevention, monitoring and quantification of environmental damage. At the same time, it has the ambition of constituting a streamlined and simple tool for information and updating on environmental issues aimed at a wider audience.

The fundamental role of communication and training is highlighted, both in terms of building a strong cultural awareness of environmental issues, and in terms of fostering effective synergies between local authorities, national authorities and private individuals in relation to these issues.

Particular emphasis is also placed on the protection, identification, quantification, assessment and compensation of environmental damage with an in-depth regulatory and legal update on the topics of this paper.

Spreading the knowledge of environmental experts

Lattanzio e Associati led the design and realisation of the training courses and the articulation of the contents of the book, in which lecturers who are experts in the field contributed their wide range of knowledge and skills in order to spread and share a sense of environmental protection and prevention.
