Lattanzio KIBS participates in events organized by the two Metropolitan Cities as part of the project entrusted by the DG REGIO on European fund management processes

Governance Models and Best Practices

Improving administrative procedures, enhancing managerial culture in service management, and ensuring better management of structural funds are key opportunities to address the challenges of smart, inclusive, and sustainable growth.

The PalaCultura in Messina and Palazzo Tezzano in Catania hosted recently concluded workshops aimed at strengthening the administrative capacity of their respective Metropolitan Cities in European fund governance.

These two days provided an important networking opportunity for the exchange of best practices and the search for interventions to optimize European fund management processes. In particular, the focus was on the opportunities offered by the Metropolitan City Operational Program 2014-2020, as well as the prospects of the new PN Metro Plus 2021-2027.

For the development of the Southern Italian Metropolitan Cities

The events took place within the framework of the project financed by the DG REGIO of the European Commission, "Support for the Administrative Capacity of the Southern Italian Metropolitan Cities." Lattanzio KIBS, the awarded contractor, moderated the two days, gathering insights and evidence on the management of the project pipeline that constitutes the Operational Plans of the PON Metro 14/20.

The project is approaching its final phase, scheduled for September 2023, during which Lattanzio KIBS will be engaged in defining a strategic roadmap to support administrations in the planning and launch of the new European programming, the PON Metro Plus.

Among similar projects entrusted to Lattanzio KIBS are activities aimed at strengthening administrative capacity during the presentation phase of the new 2021-2027 programming for the Managing Authority of the ESF Operational Program in the Sicilian Region.
