10 May 2024, Lattanzio KIBS participates in the Gender Balance 2021-2022 event as part of the Festival of Sustainable Development
In Apulia, first of all, to talk about gender equality
This morning Filippo Chesi, Co-founder of Lattanzio KIBS, speaks at the round table of the workshop "Il Bilancio di Genere della Regione Puglia" in Bari. With the institutional greetings of Giuseppe Catalano, Chief of Cabinet of the President of the Apulia Region, the meeting is an opportunity to present the Regional Gender Balance 2021-2022, approved by the Regional Council Resolution no. 234 of 05 March 2024.
The Report represents a reporting and accountability tool towards the achievement of gender equity, on the one hand, and of planning and control for the implementation of policies on the other, which allowed the Apulia Region to be the first in Italy to adopt a Strategy aimed at ensuring substantive equality within the regional PA as well as territorial communities.
The event is part of the broader programme of appointments of the eighth edition of the Festival of Sustainable Development 2024, the national initiative promoted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASVIS) to raise awareness and mobilise citizens, younger generations, businesses, associations and institutions on the issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability.
A strong area of expertise
Lattanzio KIBS is called upon for its expertise in gender equality, both nationally and internationally. In particular, it has recently supported the Department for Equal Opportunities in developing methodologies, innovative tools and thematic evaluations to strengthen administrative capacity and governance in terms of gender equality.
The project "Methods and evaluation tools for gender mainstreaming" PON Governance and Institutional Capacity 2014/2020, Axis 3, Action 3.1.2. has led to the creation of a toolkit for the realisation and implementation of the Gender Balance in public administrations: an enabling condition for the planning and evaluation of gender mainstreaming policies.
