LATTANZIO Advisory in Sierra Leone for the National Youth Commission

Youth skills development for employment and entrepreneurship

LATTANZIO Advisory in Sierra Leone for the National Youth Commission

LATTANZIO Advisory, in partnership with the non-governmental organization AVSI Foundation and the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation, following an agreement signed on 11 July, commits itself to the National Youth Commission (financed by the African Development Bank) to strengthen employment of young people from Sierra Leone and their entrepreneurial skills, through an integrated system that combines educational and professional institutions with the demands and offers of the labor market. This approach will result in strengthening employment levels in this segment of the population.

The project aims to innovate the way to address youth employment policies in Sierra Leone and to draw good practices from other developing countries, through an approach involving the Sierra Leonean government, vocational training centers, colleges, universities and business incubators.

The project will adopt a general pilot approach characterized by the modeling and measurement of its activities and results, in order to ensure its replicability and scalability and to promote innovation in the planning and testing of activities, in particular the development of the public-private partnership.
