Lattanzio and Associates and Edinform for the A.PU.LI.E _government for increasing transparency of services offered by municipalities
Who is involved in the project
On Friday, Oct. 31, the A.PU.LI.E_government Project Tax Area Competence of the Center South Salento Local System (Municipality of Maglie) was presented in Maglie. More than 60 people were there, including representatives of municipal administrations, involved in the project, and individuals who will be involved in its implementation. The Municipality of Maglie, as head of the Competence Center South Salento Local System (45 municipalities), relies on the consulting support of the companies Lattanzio and Associates, for organizational-management aspects, and Edinform, for IT aspects.
Transparency and simplification
The project for the Tax Area aims to provide an online information system for the management of local taxes in order to bring about a major change in the way municipalities provide services in favour of increasing transparency and simplification of procedures. All this will benefit citizen users and the municipalities themselves, thanks to the streamlining of organizational procedures and the launch of interactive modes for front office management.
In this perspective, the intervention of the Mayor of the Municipality of Maglie highlighted how e-government constitutes an opportunity in the implementation of a new citizen-administration relationship; the Councillor for the Budget of the Municipality of Maglie also emphasized how the innovativeness of the A.PU.LIE _government project and the high degree of involvement of all the administrations involved represent the critical success factors for the project that sees the Municipality of Maglie at the forefront supported by Lattanzio and Associates and Edinform.
