Evaluation to understand the Rural Development Program
Attending the conference was Virgilio Buscemi of LATTANZIO Monitoring & Evaluation, responsible for the evaluation of the Campania RDP, who stressed, the importance of evaluating the effects of a Rural Development Program in order to understand its methodology, purpose and impact on both citizens and businesses and public bodies.
"Evaluation is a tool for understanding phenomena and how investments have acted at the territorial level," said Virgilio Buscemi, "but it is also a tool that allows the regional administration to learn from the evaluation process, gather suggestions and thus improve future choices, with a view to defining development strategies at the regional level."
