Lattanzio KIBS supports the first U.S. edition of the Italian Symposium "United for Progress" with a research contribution on the conditions of Italian students abroad and the YOUTHINKPA benefit initiative.
Listening to the Voice of Young Italians Worldwide
During the three-day event at Columbia University, supported by the United Italian Societies network—which represents over 11,000 Italian students across eight countries—the Lattanzio KIBS Research Center launched a survey targeting Italian students and graduates abroad. The aim is to gather their experiences, expectations, and visions.
The survey seeks to provide valuable insights to help shape future educational and international mobility policies, with reflections on European competitiveness, innovation, investment, and ethics in the digital age, as well as transatlantic business, opportunities, and future collaborations.
Valuing Merit, Starting with Young People
The symposium discussions highlighted a new generation of Italian students abroad, motivated to contribute their skills, acquired in international contexts, to the benefit of their home country.
The YOUTHINKPA benefit initiative, present at the event through the Premio Tesi YTPA opportunity, fits into the broader context of valuing the talent and civic engagement of young Italians abroad. The YTPA thesis award is aimed at young individuals who have chosen to dedicate their thesis to the Italian public sector, offering ideas, analysis, and proposals that strengthen the bridge between global experiences and national development for Italian students abroad.
