Lattanzio KIBS supports the Kingdom of Tonga through a monitoring and evaluation assignment for the Integrated Aged Care Project, financed by the Asian Development Bank
Integrated welfare to address emerging vulnerabilities
Located in the heart of the South Pacific, the Kingdom of Tonga has launched the Integrated Aged Care Project in response to a set of demographic, social, environmental and health-related transformations that are putting increasing pressure on the country’s traditional care model. The project is financed by the Asian Development Bank, with contributions from the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Pacific and the Climate Change Fund. Its objective is to improve the well-being and quality of life of older persons in Tonga by delivering integrated, appropriate, safe and high-quality health and care services, while also providing support to caregivers.
Within this framework, Lattanzio KIBS supports the Ministries of Finance and Internal Affairs of the Kingdom of Tonga in the design and implementation of a structured monitoring and evaluation system. The system is aligned with the criteria of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (OECD-DAC) and is grounded in both quantitative and qualitative evidence. Its purpose is to systematically track progress, assess the effectiveness of interventions, and measure the impact of the Integrated Aged Care Project in the Kingdom of Tonga.
