Great success at the conference 'Public Work: New Professions between Flexibility and Barriers to Entry' organised by Lattanzio e Associati with ForumPA, an occasion to award the PA Thesis Prize

Successful conference and worthy theses

The event, attended by over 400 participants, was held in Rome at the Auditorium Ara Pacis on Friday 14 September 2007. During the conference, the award ceremony for the PA Thesis Prize was held, which designated two winners, Claudio Russo and Giuseppe Scali, with their thesis entitled Decision Development Framework for the operational start-up of a cst.

A merit mention was awarded to the second-ranked thesis, submitted by Mirko and Moreno Baruffini, entitled The NTICs of Participatory Planning. Application of a Foresight method to Planning: the AlpTransir project and the Insubric region

The Interventions

During the conference, Ezio Lattanzio and Carlo Mochi Sismondi welcomed authoritative personalities from the world of PA, universities and trade unions for a lively discussion on the topics of public work and new professionalism, in the light of a key question: "What space for qualified young people in PA?"

Applications for the second edition of the PA Thesis Prize will soon be open, with a deadline of 31 March 2008, for theses submitted in 2007.
