The company obtains SA8000 certification

Lattanzio KIBS is certified according to the international SA8000 standard

For some time now, Lattanzio KIBS' commitment to social responsibility has been at the heart of its actions towards its staff, its organizational processes and its competitive approach.

Today, Lattanzio KIBS' "social performance" is certified according to the SA8000 international standard of Social Accountability International (SAI), which attests to the implementation of a social responsibility management system regarding human rights, workers' rights and their well-being in the company.

What is SA8000?

SA8000 is a voluntary international global ethical certification that is issued on the basis of a verification process of transparent and measurable requirements. It guarantees compliance with the international guidelines and ethical rules defined by the world's most important organisations in the field of human and labour rights protection, such as the ILO (International Labour Organization) conventions and the relevant UN conventions.

Working alongside national and local governments, on behalf of the European Commission, the United Nations, the World Bank and the most important international development cooperation bodies, this certification takes on particular relevance because it involves not only the conduct of Lattanzio KIBS but also the conduct of external collaborators, partners, suppliers and subcontractors.

SA8000 certification adds to other international certifications obtained by Lattanzio KIBS in the areas of ESG and social responsibility: the company is in fact certified ISO 9001:2015 for its quality management system and ISO 14001:2015 for its environmental management system.

In addition, it has been part of the United Nations Global Compact since 2017 and each year it publishes the results of its action as proof of its sustainable business model, applied to all organisational processes.
