The first stages of the tour promoted by Regione Lombardia have kicked off, aimed at presenting the development Strategies for the Inner Areas and the investments activated under the Counter-Exodus Agenda

Consultancy as a driver for territorial development

The institutional tour “Lombardia Autentica” officially started on 28 January 2026 in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. Promoted by the President of Regione Lombardia, Attilio Fontana, and the Regional Councillor for Local Authorities and Mountain Areas, Massimo Sertori, the tour aims to present the development Strategies for the Inner Areas and to take stock of the investments supporting the most fragile territories.

The initiative is part of the Counter-Exodus Agenda and seeks to strengthen the competitiveness, social cohesion and attractiveness of mountain and lake areas through a structured co-design process involving local authorities and communities.

In this context, Lattanzio KIBS supports the Directorate-General for Local Authorities of Regione Lombardia in the implementation, monitoring and governance of the Inner Areas Strategies, contributing to ensuring the effective and coherent use of the allocated resources. For each Inner Area involved, €14.3 million has been made available to develop shared projects in key sectors such as services, infrastructure, sustainable mobility, social inclusion, culture and local economic development.

The first stages of the tour focused on the Val Seriana and Val di Scalve Inner Area and the Laghi Bergamaschi and Sebino Bresciano Inner Area, with institutional visits to Ardesio, Clusone, Endine Gaiano and Marone. In particular, the project for the Orobie Bergamasche Biodiversity Hub was presented at the Ardesio Town Hall, representing a concrete example of an initiative focused on environmental sustainability, research and education.
