Lattanzio KIBS supports the Italian Presidency in its final event on female empowerment, held at the prestigious Palazzo San Macuto in Rome.
Closing support for G7 events
The final event in a long series of G7 engagements was successfully concluded. Lattanzio KIBS accompanied the Italian Presidency during the day dedicated to equal opportunities, in the magnificent setting of Palazzo San Macuto, where strategies and concrete actions were discussed, with particular focus on conflict, caregiving, Gen Z, and education.
The role of female leadership
"The creation of a world where the differences between women and men are recognized and valued through real equal opportunities is not just about fairness and justice; it is the foundation for peace, justice, development, and freedom. Women's empowerment is not just a goal: it is a solution," said Eugenia Roccella, Minister for Family, Birthrate, and Equal Opportunities, in her opening remarks.
At the heart of the event was the launch of the 2024 GEAC (Gender Equality Advisory Council) report (LINK: https://www.pariopportunita.gov.it/it/news-e-media/news/2024/evento-g7-di-presentazione-del-rapporto-geac-2024/), the outcome of the Ministerial Meeting on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, titled “The World Needs Women’s Leadership and Expertise.” This prestigious document outlines a strategic framework to promote gender equality as an essential element for sustainable development, from protecting the mental health of young Gen Z to ensuring equal access to education, with a focus on STEM fields. It provides a strategic guide for promoting women's empowerment and protecting women's rights globally for the G7.
