Plan International Italia assigns to Lattanzio KIBS the independent evaluation of AVENIR BRILLANT Phase II, a multi-year project in Mali aimed at building concrete opportunities for youth and protecting vulnerable children from irregular migration
A partnership built on results
In Mali, decades of political instability, armed conflict and climate crisis in the Bamako and Kayes regions have progressively eroded the basic socioeconomic conditions needed to build a stable future, fuelling irregular migration flows and increasing the vulnerability of unaccompanied minors along migration routes. It is against this backdrop that AVENIR BRILLANT was established - a project promoted by Plan International Italia, an international non-governmental organisation active in over 80 countries for the protection of children's rights and an institutional partner of the Italian Ministry of the Interior within international cooperation programmes.
Plan International Italia assigns to Lattanzio KIBS the independent mid-term and final evaluation of the intervention, based on the expertise developed during Phase I and the methodological competence demonstrated in high-complexity contexts.
The consortium, led by Plan International Italia together with Plan International Mali, ActionAid Italia, ENDA, AME, En Green and Fondazione Imagine, operates in the field with the objective of expanding socioeconomic opportunities for youth, strengthening protection services for vulnerable and unaccompanied minors, and raising community awareness of the risks of irregular migration.
