Starting in December, Lattanzio KIBS has been supporting the Municipality of Moncalieri in developing the Action Plan for Inclusion and Gender Equality through a participatory design process that actively involves institutions, citizens, and local stakeholders.

Kickstarting the Participatory Design Process

Following the initial kick-off phase, Lattanzio KIBS is assisting the Municipality in organizing exclusive working sessions with key local stakeholders to shape the community’s future through the lens of inclusion and gender equality.

The first event, scheduled for March 25, is part of a series of three participatory design workshops to be held at the Arduino Civic Library—a location with strong symbolic significance. Founded through the commitment of a female teacher, the library now serves as the starting point for a journey toward the social and economic well-being of the community.

At the core of this initiative is the vision of a gender-equal and inclusive community, alongside the necessary steps to achieve obstacles, opportunities, and concrete strategies. The insights gathered will guide the upcoming workshops, planned for the first two weeks of April, which will focus on designing short, medium, and long-term actions.
