The ECB Governing Council convenes Lagarde, Mattarella and Panetta. Lattanzio KIBS entrusted with event organization amid art, dialogue and the EU’s future
The setting: Palazzo Corsini
For two days, Florence became the beating heart of Europe. From 29 to 30 October, Palazzo Corsini hosted the monetary policy meeting of the European Central Bank’s Governing Council, organized by the Bank of Italy. Among frescoes, light and history, Renaissance beauty framed a gathering that brought together institutions, visions and the future of Europe.
The event was made possible thanks to the expertise and meticulous work of the Lattanzio KIBS team, responsible for every phase of its execution: from venue setup and logistical coordination to curated museum tours in Florence. A dedicated effort that transformed the magnificence of a historic palace into a space for dialogue and cooperation among European institutions.
In his address, President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella called on the European Union to regain “momentum and courage” to strengthen its political and economic integration. Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, invoked the legacy of Brunelleschi as a symbol of European ingenuity, urging to “innovate within the constraints of the present.” Words that echo as an appeal to creativity, cohesion, and renewed confidence in the European project.
