LATTANZIO Group under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Skopje promotes the event: “Union Programmes as an opportunity”

The workshop will be received at the venue of the EU Delegation

On October 31st 2014, LATTANZIO Group, under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Skopje, is organising a workshop, hosted by the EU Delegation, to present a survey on the participation in European Union programmes. The strategic importance of these opportunities for Macedonia will be discussed, also in the light of the Italian experience on this topic.

Indeed, the survey examines the reason for joining such programmes, the results achieved and the main features of projects and initiatives that have been financed. The outcome of this study will be a report that points out evidence from the Macedonian experience, highlights standpoints of the Italian background that can be valuable for Macedonian institutions and actors, shows likely directions for a better allocation of these funds.

The workshop will be opened by, among the others, the Italian Ambassador in Skopje, the Head of Cooperation EU Delegation, and the Deputy Prime Minister. Mr Basilio Buffoni, Partner at LATTANZIO Group, will present the outcomes of the research with an insight into the Italian experience; further contributions by Mr Goce Velichkovski, National Agency for European Educational Programmes, Ms Biljana Prentoska, Ministry of Culture, Ms Olga Dukovska-Aton , Ministry of Education and Science, will be dedicated to Best practices in the Union programmes. Lastly, Ms Orhideja Kaljosevska, Head of NIPAC office, will illustrate future perspectives for Union programmes.

LATTANZIO Group has given a ten-years contribution to the country, through several projects to support the Macedonian Public Administration since 2004 with the aim of encouraging the modernization challenge and the pre-accession to the European Union.

The event takes place at the EU InfoCentre, Sv. Kiril i Metodij 52b, from 9 to 12.30 AM.

Simultaneous Macedonian-English and Albanian-English (and vice versa) interpreters will be available.
