The Longevity Economy HUB is born

Prevention and innovation at the heart of AGEVITY

Lattanzio KIBS is a knowledge partner of AGEVITY, the first national Confindustria platform dedicated to the longevity economy in Italy, developed by the Silver Economy Network (SEN) with the support of Assolombarda.

From the second edition in 2024 - hosted at Università Bocconi under the theme Longevity, Society, Economy, Future - to the 2025 edition at the Assolombarda headquarters, the collaboration has offered the opportunity to explore the growing role of silver consumers for Italy and the world, fostering institutional dialogue and strategic collaborations among businesses, institutions and citizens.

In 2025, Annachiara Annino, Partner, spoke on the panel dedicated to data and technology in new prevention models, delivering an up-to-date analysis of the Italian context: from the impact of inflation on prevention to regional disparities in access to health checks, the role of digitalisation and social media in health communication, and the opportunities offered by phygital models to more effectively meet people's needs.

Longevity Scenario: three editions of longevity research

Lattanzio KIBS, Knowledge Partner of AGEVITY, contributes to the Longevity Scenario, the annual report conceived and developed by the Silver Economy Network in collaboration with the Assolombarda Research Centre. Now in its third edition, the study analyses demographic trends and the drivers of future wellbeing, exploring new socio-economic development perspectives and identifying phenomena that will influence the country's public policies.

The 2025 edition - presented at AGEVITY JAPAN at Expo Osaka, during the Health & Wellbeing week - compares Italy and Japan, two of the world's longest-lived countries, examining shared demographic trends and common challenges around sustainable longevity. Complementing the research journey, the AGEVITY JAPAN 2025 Conference Report - From Ageing to Longevity - is available online, offering a synthesis of the key contributions and reflections shared in Osaka.

Previous editions - the 2024 Report and the first edition from 2023 - are available online and represent milestones in an ongoing research journey into the future of longevity in Italy.
