The State Mint Sustainability Report

Sustainability is one of the core values of the State Mint and Polygraphic Institute (IPZS), which is committed to a strategy aimed not only at achieving positive economic results, but also at offering products and services with a low environmental impact and high social value. The IPZS bears witness to this commitment annually with the drafting of the Sustainability Report, a document that contains the results achieved and the projects launched in this areaby the Institute.

Lattanzio KIBS has been commissioned to conceive, design and implement the Sustainability Report 2021, for which it has defined a new graphic concept that takes into account the Institute's founding values.

During the design of the concept, Lattanzio KIBS conducted a careful analysis of the Institute's pivotal elements such as its history, its purpose and its mission, establishing an ongoing dialogue with the company and collaborating with it throughout the process of designing the materials and studying the documents in order to best capture the Mint's directives.

During the production of the Annual Report, Lattanzio KIBS devised graphic solutions that took into account the Institute's coordinated image and improved aspects such as the readability of the text and the effectiveness of its messages, even in the most complex parts. To do this, it implemented graphic solutions such as the reorganisation of the table of contents or the development of graphic elements such as tables, infographics, diagrams and an iconographic portfolio.

In addition to the realisation of the Sustainability Report 2021, Lattanzio KIBS was responsible for designing the interface and user experience of the sustainability section on the institute's website, with a focus on content architecture and navigability.

Project Impact

The 2021 Sustainability Report is not just a reporting document, but becomes a communication tool that conveys the values and commitment of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato towards a more sustainable future. By devising a new communication concept, Lattanzio KIBS facilitates the transmission of these values and readjusts the Institute's coordinated image to better communicate the Institute's sustainability objectives such as the achievement of the SDGs and the implementation of sustainable business strategies.
