Lattanzio KIBS supports UNICEF in evaluation of Country Program for Children 2019-2023 in the Philippines

Lattanzio KIBS conducts an independent evaluation for UNICEF on performance and results achieved through the implementation of the 8th Country Program for Children (CPC8) 2019-2023 in the Philippines. The project aims to analyze UNICEF's strategic position within the development community and its capacity to support national partners, including the Government of the Philippines, in disadvantaged areas such as the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

The assessment considers 5 areas:

  • Safeguarding mental and physical well-being (Nutrition, Health, WASH)
  • Quality and inclusive lifelong learning (Education)
  • Security of living conditions (Child Protection)
  • Social Policy and Governance (focus on multiple aspects of poverty and crisis response)
  • Program Effectiveness

The approach used for the evaluation considers multiple factors to understand the extent to which UNICEF contributes to various processes of change in the country. The evaluation focuses on learning from successful experiences and analyzing possible key factors that positively influence the 'outcome of the initiative.
