Rural Development of the Region of Tuscany

The Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2022 of the Tuscany Region has the strategic objectives of stimulating the competitiveness of the agricultural sector, ensuring the sustainable management of natural resources and achieving a balanced territorial development of rural economies and communities. The management and implementation of the Programme are entrusted to the Managing Authority (MA), which is also responsible for its evaluation.

Lattanzio KIBS is in charge of evaluating the Tuscany RDP for the 2014-2022 period, with the aim of providing the Managing Authority with the information and tools needed to ensure proper management of the entire Programme.

The evaluation activities included a preliminary analysis to determine the very feasibility of the evaluation, a periodic review of the initiatives and results of the Programme, a study on the effectiveness of the communication and the analysis of the results with the identification of the best practices implemented. 

The evaluation activities are complemented by the communication and dissemination of the project results.

Lattanzio KIBS contributes to the economic and social growth of the rural areas of the Tuscan region, with a view to sustainable agricultural and forestry development and increased competitiveness of the regional territory.
