Development of the Creative Industries Programme in Kuwait

The project carried out in 2015-2017 included the implementation of the 'creative industries' programme, designed and managed by the Kuwait National Fund also with the intention of creating a pilot model for the establishment of specialised programmes in the development of the local business fabric.

Activities focused on supporting the development of media and design services due to the high growth potential in the country.

Project Pluses

The action plan provided the implementation of interventions dedicated to the needs of those who want to start a new business (START UP incubation) and entrepreneurs who need services for business development and growth (Assistance to existing SMEs).

• Startup incubation: training and coaching for start-ups, with a focus on business ideas and models.
• Assistance to existing SMEs: development of action plans with milestones for each participant, development of individual project proposals, technical training for participants in the field of 'creative industries', support in market access and growth techniques.
