Therefore, we are looking for freelancers who are goal oriented and seek innovative solutions to complex projects.
Tasks
- Provide primary business development expertise to Lattanzio KIBS unit teams and clients for relevant projects
- Design primary business development projects strategies and plans, write and review business assessments
- Design assessment specifications, and develop assessment and plans that will deliver local business development objectives
- Design, review and conduct market research and assessment
- Provide capacity building to private sector and associations
- Train and coach consultants on primary business development, human resource management, finance management, SME development etc.
- Keep abreast of new and current development techniques
- Develop relationships with external local partners and subcontractors and interact with as needed
Opportunity
Short-term or long-term assignments within donor-funded projects worldwide.
You will be required to accept and endorse Lattanzio KIBS Code of Conduct during the implementation of the assignment.
Requirements
Education
Postgraduate Degree in business management/economics/finance/trade (PhD/MBA will be considered a plus).
Experience
- At least of 10 years demonstrable experience in managing and delivering complex local business and private sector development projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- Sound experience in business advisory, training, coaching and supporting SMEs, NGOs, associations etc.
- At least 5 years of experience in third countries
Language skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, fluency in one or more of the following languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese.
IT skills
Full computer literacy.
