Supporting Structural Justice Reform for the European Commission DG

The project saw Lattanzio KIBS working alongside the European Commission's DG Secretariat General Structural Reform Support Service to provide its services to support the streamlining of data collection and internal workflows in insolvency and enforcement courts.

More details

The main focus of the activities carried out was the analysis of the compliance of the operational and technical framework of the electronic civil procedure system (ECP) with the current legislative framework governing the ECP system, in the context of the justice reform, to check the level of compliance and implement improvements. Specifically, the analysis covered the following areas of insolvency and enforcement:

  • legislative framework regulating the electronic management of insolvency and enforcement proceedings;
  • technical architecture of the so-called Electronic Civil Process (ECP), including IT tools and electronic platforms;
  • internal activities of the courts;
  • data collection procedure and methodology.

Project Pluses

The analysis enabled the improvement of current business processes by ensuring a more efficient management of the ECP system. The project also allowed the experts to measure themselves against a highly technical subject. More generally, Lattanzio KIBS with its services has contributed to a smoother and faster Italian justice system.
