Lattanzio KIBS has been awarded the project for the Analysis and Evaluation of the National Rural Development Program (PSRN) for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry

This project aims to analyze the impact of the PSRN in achieving European thematic objectives through targeted interventions for rural development and risk management in agriculture.

More details

The PSRN evaluation activity results in the production of several key deliverables. The annual evaluation reports provide a detailed analysis of the program’s progress across various aspects: implementation, financial, physical, and procedural. In addition, annual communication products are designed to convey the results clearly and accessibly. At the end of the programming period, an ex post Evaluation Report summarizes the overall results and performance of the PSRN.

The evaluation process consists of five main phases: structuring, which includes updating the logical framework and defining evaluation questions; observation, which involves collecting primary and secondary data; analysis, which focuses on data processing; judgment, which addresses the evaluation questions and formulates recommendations; and finally, communication and dissemination, which ensures the presentation and dissemination of the results.

For effective outcomes, Lattanzio KIBS contributes at both the strategic and operational levels, managing the technical-scientific coordination and ensuring high-quality standards in the evaluation process.

Project Impact

Through the evaluation of the PSRN’s impact, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry benefits from continuous and detailed assessments of the Program. These reports provide an in-depth analysis of progress made and areas for improvement. The recommendations offered support more efficient resource management and better strategic planning, while the communication and dissemination efforts ensure that the results are integrated into future policies and decisions, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the program.
