Lattanzio KIBS supports Fondazione Collegio Universitario Einaudi in defining the strategic vision for the evolution of its digital platform
Fondazione Collegio Universitario di Torino Renato Einaudi is a private, non-profit foundation that manages five merit-based university residences in Turin, recognised and accredited by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), thanks to a distinctive pedagogical model - the "Learning Community" - that combines self-directed, self-organised learning oriented towards the common good. In this context, the institution is launching a structured renewal of its technological infrastructure, aimed at supporting the evolution of its educational model and further strengthening students' transversal skills.
More details
Building on the collaboration already established in 2021, when Lattanzio KIBS supported the institution in developing the very same "Learning Community" pedagogical model now at the heart of this digital innovation journey, the new assignment is part of a programme structured across five progressive phases - visioning, market analysis, gap analysis, procurement and implementation - with go-live planned for the 2027/2028 academic year. Lattanzio KIBS is involved in the initial phase, supporting the institution in a co-design process aimed at defining a shared vision and the design criteria for the future digital platform - key elements for consistently guiding the technology choices that follow.
Notably, the process adopts the backcasting method - building a shared future vision from which to work backward to define project choices - to ensure that technology decisions stem from a clear goal rather than from the solutions currently available on the market. This allows the institution to steer its path from the outset toward medium- to long-term objectives, encouraging a genuinely transformative reflection rather than one bound by present-day logic. Through workshops, discussion sessions and facilitation activities, Lattanzio KIBS translates the institution's pedagogical model into functional requirements and operational guidelines, laying the groundwork for an informed technology selection fully aligned with the evolution of the educational model.
Project Impact
The project strengthens the alignment between educational vision and technological infrastructure, avoiding purely instrumental or market-driven approaches. Defining a shared vision and clear design criteria allows the institution to more effectively steer the subsequent phases of analysis, procurement and implementation.
Lattanzio KIBS's contribution generates value in terms of greater strategic awareness, decision-making consistency and change management capability, helping to build a digital platform that is genuinely enabling for the "Learning Community" model and for the long-term development of students' skills.
