Lattanzio KIBS is supporting the Ministry of Justice to improve the economic, financial, and legal management of initiatives funded by EU Funds

Managing programs funded by EU Funds is a complex challenge for public administrations. They must adhere to intricate procedures, ensure transparency and regulatory compliance, and make the best use of available resources. Within this context, the Ministry of Justice identified certain economic, financial, accounting, and legal issues that required a strengthening of its administrative capacity.

More details

The project is structured along four main lines of action, designed to provide concrete and complementary solutions. The first concerns planning and governance. Lattanzio KIBS’s intervention focuses on improving strategic planning capacity through an analysis of existing processes, the identification of critical issues, and the enhancement of enabling factors. This work translates into the definition of shared governance models, the building of institutional and operational partnerships, and the creation of concrete implementation programs with clear timelines and objectives.

The second line of action concerns the management of the projects and programs portfolio. The goal is to make management more streamlined and transparent, reducing lead times and inefficiencies and ensuring a more effective use of resources, with particular attention to risk monitoring, the consistency between objectives and available resources, and reporting.

The third area focuses on the management control system, conceived as a tool to strengthen financial and organizational monitoring. The Lattanzio team is introducing key performance indicators, intuitive dashboards, and automated reporting processes to ensure a clear and constant view of progress, promptly identify any deviations, and improve overall efficiency.

Finally, the fourth area is dedicated to capacity building and staff training. Here the project invests in people, analyzing training needs and designing modular, practical, and sustainable training programs.

Project Impact

Thanks to the support of Lattanzio KIBS, the Administration can rely on advanced analysis and control tools, more transparent and effective governance, and staff with up-to-date skills to manage EU Funds with greater autonomy and confidence. This integrated approach not only reduces risks and inefficiencies but also improves the institution’s strategic capacity, strengthening the link between available resources and development objectives.
