Lattanzio KIBS designs and produces training content for university lecturers in support of the digital transformation of higher education

Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) identifies the digital transformation of university teaching as one of the key pillars for relaunching the national education system. Against this backdrop, the "DEH_HEd - Digital Education Hub Higher Education" project was launched: a strategic initiative (Mission 4, Investment 3.4) aimed at building advanced digital skills among Italian university lecturers, who are increasingly called upon to design and deliver learning programmes in online, blended, and large-scale environments. The project is part of a broader national effort to modernise higher education and bring it in line with European standards for digital learning.

More details

Consorzio QUINN selects Lattanzio KIBS as technical partner for the production of training content for the Digital Education Hub Higher Education project. Lattanzio KIBS develops the project's training library across three production pillars. At the core is the creation of 20 ten-minute video pills, designed to guide university lecturers through four learning pathways: instructional design, communication in digital environments, the use of online teaching tools, and the transversal skills that make distance learning effective. Alongside these, 16 webinars - originally delivered live - are post-produced and made available on demand, with no time constraints. Videos, webinars, and supporting resources all come together in a structured Moodle environment, where each piece of content finds its place within a coherent, navigable learning journey accessible from any Italian university.

Project Impact

Lattanzio KIBS's ability to work at the intersection of pedagogy, digital communication, and technology translates into a concrete training offer, accessible on a national scale. Better-prepared lecturers mean more inclusive and effective learning environments - both physical and virtual - with direct benefits for the quality of students' educational experience. A tangible contribution to building the country's human capital, made possible by European Union funding through Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
