Models and Tools for Managing the International Dimension

Public Administrations can play an active role in internationalization processes, provided they possess the necessary skills and organizational structures.

This volume explores how public officials and managers define and implement these processes, the organizational choices made, the methods used to acquire and disseminate skills, and the related training and information needs. Based on desk research, focus groups, and interviews with public officials—particularly those involved in attracting foreign direct investment—the study identifies key challenges and outlines guidelines to improve the organization and governance of the PA’s international dimension.

Lattanzio KIBS contributes by systematizing evidence and tools to support public administrations in managing internationalization strategies.
