The Case of Lombardy's Agricultural Sector
This publication presents the results of the project “Systems and tools to support agricultural sector planning”, developed by IReF and Lattanzio KIBS to explore the evolution of multilevel governance in the Lombardy Region.
The Region has promoted a cooperative system based on partnerships and the enhanced role of local authorities, in response to the decentralization reforms introduced by the new Title V of the Italian Constitution. The volume examines applicable management models in the relationship between Regions and Local Authorities, offers an overview of regional choices in agricultural policy, and shares the outcomes of three project works carried out within the initiative.
Lattanzio KIBS contributes by delivering a structured analysis of inter-institutional planning models and practical tools to support agricultural policy implementation in a shared governance context.
