Analysis of the participatory process in rural development planning
Actively involving partnerships in the definition of Rural Development Programs (RDPs) is crucial to ensure that strategies effectively address territorial needs.
This article examines the stakeholder engagement process in the development of the 2014-2020 RDP of the Liguria Region, analyzing the methodologies adopted, challenges faced, and results achieved. Through the application of stakeholder analysis, the authors highlight how active participation contributed to more shared and locally responsive programming.
Lattanzio KIBS, leveraging its experience in supporting regional administrations, played a key role in facilitating the participatory process, providing methodological and operational tools to ensure effective partnership involvement in the definition of rural development policy.
