An application of Stakeholder Analysis

The drafting of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme (RDP) of the Liguria Region placed particular emphasis on the active involvement of local partnerships, in line with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013 and the European Code of Conduct on Partnership.

This contribution describes the application of stakeholder analysis as a method to identify and classify the stakeholders involved in the programming process, assessing their importance and influence within the decision-making process. The analysis enabled the mapping of stakeholders based on their role and degree of involvement, facilitating more effective and targeted participation in the definition of rural development strategies.

Lattanzio KIBS supported the Managing Authority of the Liguria RDP in implementing this participatory approach, thus contributing to the strengthening of the programme’s governance and improving the coherence of the adopted policies with the needs of the territory.
