Cooperation continues with the EU CBRN CoEs, the European Centres of Excellence for the prevention and assessment of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risks

EU Centres of Excellence for Security

The Centres of Excellence for the mitigation of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risks is a global initiative funded and managed by the European Commission, FPI (Foreign Policy Instruments Service).

Lattanzio KIBS has been supporting the initiative for five years now with a team of experts on the subject, participating in numerous international meetings to help promote peace, stability and conflict prevention as well as mitigating the risks associated with CBRN threats.

The meetings in Burundi and Strasbourg

The international conference in Strasbourg (19-21 March 2024), preceded by the meeting in Bujumbura (led by the National Focal Point, Séraphine CIZA and with a focus on chemical security training), is an opportunity to exchange expertise on detection, identification, protection, decontamination, medical countermeasures, risk and crisis management.

An opportunity of great relevance for Lattanzio KIBS in its commitment to raising awareness of a security culture and creating cooperative networks for strengthening response capacity to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats on a global level.
