Improving the management of European funds

The European Union pursues the consolidation of its economic, social and territorial cohesion. To this end, numerous measures and a significant part of the EU budget are devoted to reducing the development gap between different areas.
Targeted financial instruments, known as the European Structural Funds, make this goal a reality. Among them, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) specifically intervenes to reduce existing regional imbalances in the EU. Through infrastructure and productive investments, the ERDF aims to pull regions toward structural adjustment and lasting economic development.

Lattanzio KIBS is awarded by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-South Tyrol for the consulting and technical assistance service to support the Managing Authority (MA) in the implementation of the ERDF PR 2021-2027.

The purpose of the technical assistance service is to support the MA in the programming and implementation of the ERDF PR 2021-2027, in monitoring its progress as well as in expenditure control activities with the aim of providing methodological solutions, tools and procedures to the Administration useful to ensure optimal conditions for the implementation of the Program.

Lattanzio KIBS contributes its know-how to the successful achievement of the Program's objectives, including the development and strengthening of research and innovation capacity, the implementation of digital solutions for the benefit of citizens, businesses, and R&D organizations, the promotion of energy efficiency and climate change adaptation, disaster risk prevention, and the strengthening of sustainable multimodal urban mobility.
