Women 7 (W7), the official G7 civil commitment group on equal opportunities, gathered in Rome for an event organised in collaboration with Lattanzio KIBS

Lattanzio KIBS' support in organising the prestigious events for the Italian G7 Presidency continues. The W7 Summit, dedicated to equal opportunities, will meet in Rome on May 8 and 9, 2024, at the Sala della Protomoteca in Campidoglio, to discuss financial empowerment, climate justice, combating violence against women and children, artificial intelligence and migration

Two days to bring to the attention of the G7 actions and objectives aimed at fostering concrete, tangible, lasting and transformative political and financial commitments in the lives of women and girls around the world. 

Among the institutional speeches scheduled, Maria Eugenia Roccella, Minister of Family, Birth and Equal Opportunities, Alessandra Locatelli, Minister of Disability of Italy, Marina Calderone, Minister of Labour and Social Policies of Italy, Anna Maria Bernini, Italy's Minister of University and Research, Vannia Gava, Italy's Deputy Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome, and Monica Lucarelli, Councillor for Security Policies, Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities, Municipality of Rome.

ASVIS, UNICEF, UNFPA, OECD and the European Commission also took the floor under the guidance of co-chairs Martina Rogato, Claudia Segre, Annamaria Tartaglia and Lella Golfo

Commitment to effective change on gender equality

Women7, established in 2018 with the aim of promoting proposals on gender equality and women's rights to governments, now has 90 delegates from countries around the world, including civil society representatives, representatives of foundations, associations and non-governmental organisations committed to equal opportunities.
