On 21 October, at the Fiera del Levante, the first networking and engagement meeting on forecasted skills needs for the S3 sectors took place, a step forward in building the future of skills in Puglia

Puglia tests a new way of planning training

An afternoon of dialogue, ideas, and collaboration marked the launch of the new regional model for programming the training offer.

With the support of Lattanzio KIBS, the event “Forecasted Skills Needs in S3 Sectors in Apulia, Network Animation Meeting”, promoted by the Apulia Labour Market Observatory, brought together institutions, universities, businesses, and trade associations in an open discussion on the evolving skills needs in the Tac and Automotive sectors, both central to regional innovation and development strategies.

Far from a traditional conference, the event acted as a true collaborative laboratory, where participants worked in thematic groups to validate economic and employment scenarios and identify emerging skills in two of the most strategic industries for Apulia’s economy.

This meeting marks the beginning of a shared journey that, through experimentation and co-design with local stakeholders, will lead to the definition of an Action Plan 2026, aimed at making the regional training system more effective, flexible, and aligned with the evolving needs of the labour market.

Lattanzio KIBS will continue to support the Observatory throughout this process of experimentation and co-design, with the goal of consolidating a stable and sustainable model capable of strengthening territorial networks and anticipating the skill needs of the regional production system.
